Lutefisk Dinner Volunteers

All youth must have this form (Youth Volunteer Contract) filled out and turned in before they work their shift at the Sunday, January 21st Lutefisk Dinner.  You can turn it in any time before the 21st to Leisha or bring it to the dinner.

Flower Fundraiser

Here is a great opportunity for you to earn youth credits!  It's easy and pays off quickly!

For every item you sell in the flower fundraiser, you get a portion of the profits added to your youth credit account.

Earn anywhere from $0.75-$4.00 per item!

Youth credits can be used to pay for camps, retreats, trips, events and more.

30 Hour Famine - Participants Lock-in

Saturday, January 14, 7pm - Sunday, January 15, 10am

If you plan to participate in the 30 Hour Famine you are highly encouraged to attend this lock-in.  At the lock-in we will have pizza, discuss our group fundraiser, set up out plan and prepare to begin fundraising on the 15th. 

Please bring: $5 to put toward the cost of the pizza and supplies, bedding, overnight "stuff," items to be prepared for Sunday activities (worship, confirmation, etc.).

30 Hour Famine 2012

Come and help overcome hunger!

Friday, February 24, 6pm - Saturday, February 25, 7pm at First Lutheran.

6th grade and up.  If you are under age 12 and/or under 100 pounds, please consult with your regular doctor if fasting for 30 hours is a healthy thing for you.  If not, we can plan a modified fast for you.  

Adults needed.
Fast for 30 hours to raise money for starving children all around the world.

Get together with youth from Mt. Carmel in Minneapolis, Wooddale in St. Louis Park and Cross of Glory.

We'll keep you so busy you won't even realize that you're hungry!

Pick up an information packet that has all the fundraising materials any time from church.  They are located in front of the Youth Board in the Commons.

Join us to help overcome hunger!  Children around the world need you!

Camp Wapo

TIM (Teens in Mission) Team:

Senior High Youth, $400.00 ($100 is paid for with a scholarship from the Youth Board)

Friday, June 8, 5:30pm - Friday, June 15, 5pm

TIM Teamers spend time at both Ox Lake and Wapo sites.  They will experience the Low/High Ropes Challenge Course, participate in training sessions, Bible Studies, worships and sleep at Ox Lake.  At Wapo site they will be interacting with younger campers from our congregation.   By the endo fhte week, TIM Teamers will have created a covenant and commit together to one year of service in our congregation and community.

Youth Campers:

Those completed grades 4-6 and 7-9, $390 ($100 is paid for with a scholarship from the Youth Board)

Sunday, June 10, 1pm - Friday, June 15, 5pm

Each day includes a Bible Study, worship, cabin activities, field games and campfire.  Your daily schedule also involves free time so you can do things like swim, arts and crafts, foosball, Gaga, ultimate frisbee, get treats and the canteen, paddle boat, 9-square and more.

SEEDS:

Those completed grades 2-3, $140 ($40 is paid for with a scholarship from the Youth Board)

Friday, June 15, 5pm - Sunday, June 17, 4pm

SEEDS Campers get a first taste of camp while experiencing a safe and caring environment filled with music, Bible study, campfires, crafts, water activities and tons of games.
