Music at First
The First Lutheran sanctuary, with its large and impressive windows, intimate seating arrangement, and excellent acoustics, is a wonderful place to hear a concert. Our church takes pride in offering itself as a venue for quality musicians from the metropolitan area and beyond.
The mission of the Music at First Concert Series is to share God's great gift of music with our congregation and community for inspiration, education, and renewal of spirit.
Each year, Music at First presents numerous concerts representing a wide variety of musical styles. Popular performances from the past have featured VocalEssence, Cantus, Twin Cities Community Gospel Choir, The Singers and the Lake Wobegon Brass Band. Our season is also anchored by fall and summer performances by the Mississippi Valley Orchestra.
Concerts are generally presented on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Watch for upcoming concerts below and join us for a time of beautiful music!
