Confirmation
Students in grades 6-8 attend confirmation classes with Affirmation of Baptism occurring on the last Sunday in October, Reformation Sunday, in grade 9.
During the three years of classes on Sunday mornings, the students will journey through the Biblical narrative with special attention given to the Lord's Prayer, the Apostles Creed, the Ten Commandments, Baptism, and Holy Communion through studying the Small Catechism.
Leisha Tays, Director of Youth & Family Ministry, teaches most of the confirmation lessons. Pastor Tom Carlson and Pastor Amy Orstad teach as well. It is a joy to walk with these youth as they study and prepare to make this public declaration of faith!
